Enquiring rhinoplasty for myself and my daughter who is 16, has a bump on the bridge of her nose and is very distressed of her nose size in general. What age is corrective surgery available?
I recommend delaying cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery until the age of 18. This is primarily because the face continues to develop quite significantly during the teenage years, and stabilises close to the age of 20.
As rhinoplasty is also about balancing facial features and aesthetics, I think it is sensible to allow for a more stable platform to work with.
I am happy to see a teenager and discuss the treatment plan after the age of 16, but I still prefer to carry out the surgery later on.
