I am african and I'm wondering how often you carry out ethnic rhinoplasty and as a student, is there provision for instalment payments. Have you had cases where a patient is not satisfied with the procedure and what are the remedies?
I tend to carry out 5-6 ethnic rhinoplasties every year, and they usually involves rib cartilage grafting.
So far, I have only needed to do some minor adjustments to the result, and if the procedure is corrective in nature, as for any other intervention I normally carry it out free of charge. If the procedure is an enhancement, bearing in mind that the result is never identical to the preoperative computer simulation, the patient needs to cover the hospital and anaesthetic charges, but I usually wave the surgeon fees.
I am afraid that for the time being I do not have an option for payment in instalments.
