I am interested in having an otoplasty. However my ears do not stick out that much.
The problem I have is that my ears are very large rather than protruding, will an otoplasty correct this?
Your request goes more along the lines of ear reduction, which can be achieved sometimes through techniques similar to otoplasty and sometimes different.
It is probably better to discuss something like this in a consultation where the situation can be evaluated more accurately and the explanations about surgical options become clearer.
Earlobe reduction is often part of correcting the ears that appear oversized, and this can also be carried out through a number of techniques.
