Question

I have a major facial asymmetry (my right side of my face looks bigger compared to left side) due to a failed fat reduction treatment earlier.

Can this be corrected using 3D facial sculpting?

Answer

In general terms, analysis if the facial contours in 3D allows for a more elaborate understanding of the problem, because the image can be turned around also from angles that are not available for direct inspection and the related planning will allow discussion of alternatives and techniques necessary for correction.

In essence, all faces are asymmetric, and it is not a matter of eliminating asymmetry, but rather of adjusting the balance of facial features to generate an appearance that you feel comfortable with.

As a matter of further fat reduction in the face, there are a number of options that target either the superficial fat (under the skin) or the deep layer (buccal fat) and they can be used according to need.
