I'm interested in getting a rhinoplasty done for my ethnic nose. I have a thick nasal area and wide nostrils. Can this be fixed?
It is possible to operate changes in all aspects related to the nasal shape and size, but there will be naturally some differences depending on the skin type and individual characteristics.
In most instances, in order to achieve a more defined appearance of the tip and bridge of the nose and in the context of an ethnic rhinoplasty, I tend to use rib cartilage grafts to build up the framework.
You can find out more regarding ethnic rhinoplasty in the dedicated section on the website: http://www.allaboutcosmeticsurgery.co.uk
At the time of the consultation, it is possible to define the target for change of the individual components of the nose, including changes for the shape of the nasal tip and the nostrils, and formulate a plan for the changes.
