What are the chances of scarring on Afro Caribbean skin after Rhinoplasty?

Answer

I presume your question is referring to the risk of keloid or hypertrophic scarring with nose reshaping, but this does not seem to be happening with any skin type, either for the scar under the nose or at the base of the nostrils.

The exact reason why this is the case is not understood, but open tip ethnic rhinoplasty appears to be just as safe as in any other skin type.
