When I smile my cheeks pop out, will my cheeks naturally chisel out?

Question

My buccal fat pads are really making me self conscious. I have a naturally small face with prominent cheek bones, but when I smile these big cheeks pop out.

However when I am not smiling my cheeks don't look big at all.

Will my cheeks naturally chisel out?

Answer

Your best guidance probably comes from the parent that you have inherited these features from. If there are some photographs that show a similar progression from teenage years, early 20s and later in life, it is quite likely that you will follow a reasonably similar course.
