Question

Cheekbone reduction or cheek reduction?

Answer

Cheekbone reduction is are relatively extensive surgical intervention, typically suitable for very pronounced overdevelopment of the cheekbone or significant asymmetry. It is usually carried out by maxillofacial surgeons although some craniofacial plastic surgeons may also carry it out.

Reduction in the soft tissues of the cheek involves either liposuction or buccal fat reduction and typically it would be possible to evaluate on a 3-D simulation the characteristics of the changes that you wish to achieve and establish the type of intervention necessary to deliver results that are reasonably close.
