I am a body builder who has had gynecomastia before. I need a surgeon who can remove the entire gland through open correction, can you do this?
Removing the entire breast gland with gynaecomastia correction is typically considered to be a mistake because of the secondary deformity that it generates (dinner plate deformity).
Gynaecomastia correction is essentially a contouring of the excess tissue with the aim to create a natural appearance of the male chest. This does mean that it is possible for gynaecomastia to recover in particular if there are ongoing reasons for it which remain untreated, but removing entire gland is still not a suitable solution.
