I am trying to find a surgeon that specialises in black noses. I am keen to add definition and shape to my nose which I feel is rather large and shapeless.
I am interested in the doctor's experience with my kind of nose, what procedure(s) would be recommended to achieve a satisfactory outcome, what I can expect from surgery (in terms of healing & final result) and what kind of price range will be looking at.
For the type of change that you refer to, in most instances I use the technique of rib cartilage graft rhinoplasty to provide support and assist with definition in the nasal tip and bridge. Commonly, a reduction of the nostrils is associated with this intervention.
At the time of the consultation it is possible to define using imaging either in 2-D or 3-D what is is that you would like to achieve, and based on this to forge a treatment plan that is both realistic and safe.
