I am just on the first steps to a facelift as or at least finding the right surgeon. I spoke with a surgeon and I was told after sending some photos that I would not be suitable for the procedure due to my lack of a hairline and short hair cut around the ears.
My question then is, does this bar me from most or all facial surgery?
Short hair or lack of hair does not mean facial surgery cannot be carried out without excessive visibility of the scars.
There are some limitations regarding the options applicable, but at the same time it depends how much correction as required for the face.
In general, I try to use computer imaging and simulation in 2D and 3-D to evaluate the targets for the treatment, and based on that to be able to give and evaluation.
