After neck lift I still have a small pouch under my chin, what can be done?
It is possible to improve on the results of neck lifting, and the procedure necessary depends on what was done in the 1st operation. It would be useful for you to find out what your surgeon has done for the neck contouring.
Typically, this is likely to involve an incision and therefore a small scar under the chin, and if this is already present from your last operation It may be used again for access.
Volume reduction, sometimes under the platysma muscles under the skin can often help create a flatter contour under the chin and more defined jawline.
It also depends on the amount of correction that you seek, which can be defined more accurately using 3-D imaging and computer simulation, and that will guide the decision regarding further surgical management.
