Question

Can I go from a A cup to a D cup?

Answer

Cup sizes are relative measurements between the circumference of the chest under the breast, and over the breast at the level of the nipple areola complexes. A 32 D will therefore be much smaller for instance than a 36 D.

As such, it means that an operation aiming to give you an exact cup size is not possible, and overall it has more relevance to aim for the breast size that corresponds to your body image.

This assessment is best done using either breast sizers or a measured volume of rice, placed in a stocking and fitted in a larger cup bra.

Based on the assessment of volume, it is possible to decide or the implant size.

Although technically it is feasible to go from an A cup to a D cup, it is probably the least relevant aspect of your plan for surgery.
