Question

How are the jaw angle implants placed, with screws?

Answer

In most instances, jaw angle implants are stabilised with titanium screws. There are some instances when because of the contour of the implants and the parameters of the augmentation desired, the posterior lip of the implant self stabilises against the bone under the pressure of the masseter muscles.
