Question

I am dissatisfied with my mid-face region, the cheek bones in particular.

However, I am 22, and keen to take the least-invasive, most natural-looking treatment option. I think I would be satisfied with a cheek enhancement equivalent, in volume and contour, to gently smiling with closed lips.

With this in mind, which treatment would be able to provide this change? I'm thinking in particular about dermal fillers, or potentially fat transfer but would be reluctant to consider implants or buccal fat changes.

Answer

I think you are wise to consider a limited intervention considering your age.

I would be happy to see in consultation and evaluate using computer imaging in 3-D and simulation their characteristics and degree of changes that you wish to achieve. This forms the basis of the guidance about treatment options to choose from.
