Question

I am interested in having a fat graft for my cheeks troughs and top eyelids. My tear troughs are really deep and when I smile they look even deeper.

The line between my tear trough and cheeks needs softening, I know I won't get rid of them but at 22 it is quiet depressing!

Answer

As you have described in your question, fat transfer is a good option for improvement of the volume around the eyes and upper orbital rim.

An alternative which is office-based is to use injectable fillers (in my practice hyaluronic acid fillers for this purpose), with slightly less volume augmentation but largely similar applications.
